- Kudos to the investigators that broke this case...however, it saddens me because a large percentage of those child victims will end up becoming pedophiles themselves maybe 20-30 years down the line. It's perpetual, it's sick, it's a fact.

- I'm also a huge fan of Ron Howard, from the time he played the character of Opie right through to his latest film. I am partial to Apollo 13 though, mainly because my husband's brother (Al Reinert) co-wrote the screenplay and was nominated for an Academy Award (his 2nd nomination).

- Both of my daughters are listed as organ donors on their driver licenses. As a recent sufferer of chronic kidney disease it's comforting to know that if the need arose one or the other could donate a kidney to me.

- Has no one heard the phrase "suicide by cop". Seems to me that is exactly what this man wanted to happen after shooting his 3 children, murdering 2 of them. He's just another sick coward that couldn't do the deed to himself, hence the gasoline, lighter & gun threat.

- So sorry to hear about your dog. I had a mixed foxhound that had gastric torsion also. Unfortunately we weren't able to save him. It's a very painful way to die.
